Deep and enjoyable
I don't usually leave reviews, even when I 100% love a book... but I had read the above review by Publisher Weekly prior to buying the book and had to just come back on here to absolutely laugh at the remarks posted. That review is almost like they hadn't read the whole book, were not familiar with Lori Foster's style of "cut away" type storytelling (I'm not a writer, so I don't know the technical terms), and obviously not a fan of the genre (or maybe just MMA). Anyway, every "new" character was deeply established. All of the "old" characters were placed in the story in such a way as to add to the depth and backstory of the book. The main characters were extremely engaging and well rounded - and sexy!!. To tell the truth, I actually think this one is better than Under Pressure. Anyway, I just wanted to give a big "phoo phoo" to that Publisher Weekly review! If you like Lori Foster, you'll certainly enjoy this story!!
Another knock out from Ms. Foster. The chemistry with Justice and Fallon was instant in the book and just jump off each page. The best part of the characters is their honesty with each other. Another amazing story about a fighter coming into his own outside the ring. Must read
This is the 2nd book in the Body Armor series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment, unerstanding, & to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order.
Justice is to guard Fallon as she attempts to feel more like a normal adult. Her parents shelter her after a stressful loss. Now she must learn to find her way in the world.
Fallon is trying to be a better adult. She knows she must forge her way, but it is not until she meets Justice that she learns being a woman has more to it. He is hotter than any other man in her life. Could he ever want her?
This was a great addition to the series. I loved their banter. The pace & mystery in the story make it exciting and hard to put down. Warning! Hot men are inside! I loved this and cannot wait for the next book in the series to come out.
***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.
A wonderful addition to the Body Armor Series! A wonderful romance with some engaging suspense thrown in. I loved this book, Justice is a wonderful character. I can't wait for Miles's story! Hopefully all the fighters will get their happily ever after!

Potent sex appeal at it's best! Really loving this series by Lori Foster. Former MMA fighters turned bodyguards ... they bring the lethal edge of power that their bodies exude, along with the steamy, raw passion they put into their work, as well as their women. Generally nice guys that warm up the pages! Looking forward to more to come!
Justice Wallington left his career in MMA fighting to join his buddy Leese Phelps as a bodyguard at the Body Armor Agency. He's really enjoying his job, but he's not sure how to read this latest assignment. There seems to be no danger, but extremely over-protective parents to a not so young daughter.
Fallon Wade suffered a huge tragedy and her parents sheltered her from as much of life as they could afterwards. She adores them and they her, but she really is ready for her chance to live ... and just breathe! She just wants to try the simple things ... a drink, talking and mingling with people in public, going to the movie, etc.
Justice doesn't expect to feel drawn to her, but she's a really kind person, and she just touches something in him without even trying. The fondness and attraction is very mutual ... and Fallon begins to blossom under the new experiences she is sharing with Justice. When actual danger comes knocking, will he be able to keep his personal feelings in check while he keeps her safe?
You Need This In Your Life

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review; and, as always, my reviews are honest whether they be brutal or full of unicorns and fairies.
There are so many things that I love about Lori Foster's books. I love how she is able to take characters from all walks of life and make them every day people, yet none of her characters are exactly the same no matter how many books she has written. I love how her books always seem to hit the ground running. You never have to work yourself up to the second or third chapter until you're really engaged; but, rather you're engaged by the second paragraph. I think the thing I love the most, though, is that her characters are so endearing. I have yet to meet one of her characters (aside from her villains, of course) that I have not wished that they lived right next-door. That is exactly how I feel, once again, with Foster's newest hero and heroine - Justice and Fallon.
Justice is a former MMA fighter who knows who he is and is comfortable in his own skin. As with most of Foster's male characters, he is confident in most things, strong, a typical alpha male with an inexhaustible amount of sensitivity towards those around him. After all, Alpha doesn't have to mean a-hole.
Fallon, our heroine, is such a great character. Because of past events, Fallon is both a little naive and child-like in many ways. Make no mistake, though. She is all woman, full of moxie, and can speak her mind. She learns quickly and doesn't want to live in the past but begin living in the now. All of this, of course, brings out Justice's greater extinct to protect her in every way.
This story is full of everything you've come to expect from Foster: wit, suspense, alpha males, smart women, romance, tenderness, heat - lots of that, and an incomparable storyline. I don't know how she does it but no matter how many books she writes, she brings us a fresh storyline each time. Hard Justice is no different. Without any spoilers I'll simply say that Justice has to figure out how to tackle obstacles in his new career, and life, without the option of grappling. Add to that he does have to make some hard decisions as to whether or not he wants to guard Fallon's body or practice his "floor game" with her. When a serious threat seems to center around Fallon, and curiously incorporates both Justice's new and old careers, Justice and Fallon find themselves working together as they find who they are now and who they are to each other.
For diehard Foster fans, you'll be delighted to know that while this is a Body Armor series book, there's a seamless and entertaining crossover with Foster's Ultimate series for much of the book. Personally, I think Foster is teasing us with Miles and Brand as she has them in upcoming Body Series novels and making us wonder if we'll get a new Ultimate novel or novella with Tomahawk. 😍
This is a must-read; and, while it can stand on its own, I highly recommend your reading Under Pressure at the very least first. To get the full impact, though, I would read all of the Ultimate Series, as well.
Another winner from Lori Foster! Hard Justice was #2 in the series and Justice & Fallon's story. Sweet, sexy, funny, a little action... At that you expect from Ms. Foster and more! I'm seriously loving these characters and how they interact with each other. Cameos from the Ultimate & Love Undercover gangs, and secondary characters that you KNOW will be featured in future books. I do believe Miles and Brand are next. Can't wait for the next one!
I Instantly Fell For Justice and Fallon!
By Lovey Dovey Books
Lori Foster must have some kind of super power, because there is no other way she could deliver the exact type of heroine I've been aching for! Just one chapter in and I could already claim how much I love Hard Justice.
The second installment in Lori Foster's Body Armor series features fighter Justice Wallington and young, sheltered Fallon Wade. Justice is hired to protect Fallon as she explores the world she shut out after a traumatic incident 5 years ago. Even though Justice doesn't know Fallon's past, or what could possibly be a threat to her, he vows to protect her as if the danger were obvious. As the assignment moves along the dangers to Fallon become more apparent and Justice won't rest until the threat is neutralized.
The story moves quickly but Foster manages to show Fallon and Justice's relationship grow over the course of months. It may be attraction at first sight, but readers get to see how the two forge a deep bond. As Justice brings Fallon deeper into his world, she finds a sense of camaraderie with the other MMA fighters. The Body Armor series is a spinoff of Lori Foster's Ultimate series, so fans of that series will see a lot of familiar characters. I applaud her ability to create so many rich and realistic characters that all fit well inside this story. There's a nice line of tension between Justice and another fighter that keeps you on the edge just waiting for a brawl.
I haven't read the Ultimate series, something I must remedy immediately, but I can whole-heartedly say that fans of that series will enjoy the Body Armor series. Hard Justice is the kind of story that I'll read over and over again, because I love it and it'll always give me that little shiver of satisfaction when I finish.

Love her books 📚
Justice is former fighter turned bodyguard. He is given the assignment of guarding 24 year old Fallon. Justice is sexy, sweet, and good at his job.
Fallon has been sheltered all her life. Now she is ready to do some living. But someone out there is trying to hurt her. Fallon is strong, pretty, and naïve but doesn't let anything keep her down.
The more time Justice spends with Fallon the harder he falls for the small, fiery woman.
This is the second of the BODY ARMOR series. I love Justice! Its a bodyguard falls for client love story but so much more, Characters you fall in love with and some old faces in it.

Hard and Sexy Justice
By Knotty Girl Reviews
Hard Justice is the second book in Lori Foster's Body Armor series and as usual, I've jumped in after a series has started, but after reading Hard Justice, you can bet I'll be going back and getting my knotty little paws on book one, Under Pressure, to read all about Justice's friend.
That being said, Justice Wallington is a huge, 6'5 muscle-bound ex-MMA fighter who is now a bodyguard for Fallon Wade, a overprotected, over-sheltered 24-year-old whose parents want her protected. Her mother also wants her to spread her wings and find happiness. Their first night ends in a disaster, but Fallon puts her foot down and Justice remains on the job. But Fallon's ex doesn't know how to take no for an answer and keeps showing up.
When things heat up, Justice knows his feelings for Fallon are more than professional, and he'll do anything to keep her out of harms way.
This was a total page-turner. Loved it from the beginning all the way through the very end! This is an exciting series and I can't wait to read more of it. Justice is a hot, sexy, protective alpha that has book boyfriend written all over him. Fallon is a funny, naive but so, so smart woman who just knocks Justice off his feet. A totally wonderful read!
